Zone 1 – November

Strike King pro Denny Brauer advises anglers to look shallow for the best November bites.

In Zone 1, bass really start to feed up and move as bait moves. “You may lose a school that was stacked in October as they start to move in search of food as their bait supply moves,” shares Brauer. A key piece of advice from Brauer – “Overall, look shallower than where you found them in October.”

“This is a great month to catch a giant bass on top water, but you need to stay open minded and cover water,” says Brauer. He tends to look in major creeks and bays as the water temperature drops. Don’t overlook some of your “go-to” spots, though. “There is very little fishing pressure for the most part in November, so that makes some obvious places a little better to fish,” concludes Brauer.

If the water is clear, Brauer prefers the Blue Glimmer. In stained water, he switches to the White/Silver. For muddy water, Brauer will favor a Chartreuse/White.

Strike King’s most premium spinnerbait, the Tour Grade Spinnerbait is extremely effective in cover and the light wire frame produces maximum vibration.

Brauer’s choice for clear water is the White, while he opts for Sexy Blue Back Herring if the water is stained. In muddy water, Brauer reaches for Chartreuse.

The Tour Grade Buzzbait is made with premium components, such as a sculpted quick- planing head and an exclusive Gamakatsu® hook, making it a go-to in Brauer’s line up.

The Premier Pro Model Jig with a Rage Chunk trailer is Brauer’s top choice when fish are around docks, in shallow grass, or in wood cover.

He opts for the Green Pumpkin in clear water, and switches to Black/Blue if the water is stained. In muddy water, Brauer prefers the Texas Craw.

Zone 1 – November

Strike King® pro Greg Hackney shares what type of conditions should be expected in Zone 1 during November.

Hackney expects for water conditions to be on the clearer side with moderate temperatures. “Stable stained to clear water with water temperatures in mid-to-low 60’s,” he says.

He opts for White in clear or stained water, and switches to Chartreuse Sexy Shad if the water is muddy. Hackney chooses the Pearl Rage® Craw in all conditions.

Strike King’s Hack Attack® Heavy Cover Swim Jig is perfect if fish are looking for a faster presentation and is designed with a strong and durable weed guard that will help you navigate through the thickest of cover and cut through the grass to find the big ones.

If the water is clear, he will throw Sexy Shad, while more stained water calls for Chartreuse Sexy Shad. Black Back Chartreuse is Hackney’s choice in low-vis conditions.

The KVD 1.5 is perfect for shallow water, power fishing. The squarebill design and unique “hunting” action will constantly emit erratic movement while still running true.

He opts for Pearl in clear or stained water. If the water is muddy, he will throw Siren.

Crafted with the world's best plastics, the Caffeine Shad is extremely soft and pliable, loaded with heavy salt, and strongly laced with real coffee scent. This deadly combination maximizes the Strike King Caffeine Shad's appeal, resulting in a healthy increase in positive hook-ups.

Zone 1 – November

Strike King pro Dakota Ebare shares typical patterns he experiences in Zone 1 during November.

In Zone 1, water temperatures are falling rapidly, causing bass and bait to relocate. “Water temps will continue to drop moving bait further back in the creeks,” shares Ebare. Bass will be following shad to eat as much as possible before heading into the deep winter months. “Shad will still be a large focus as bass are feeding up for winter,” Ebare explains.

If the water is clear, Ebare prefers The Shizzle. In stained or muddy water, he switches to Oyster.

Created by our national pro staff, Strike King’s Red Eyed Shad is the lipless crankbait you need on your boat deck. Premium 3D eyes, exclusive color schemes, and a free-floating rattle place the Red Eyed Shad a step ahead of other lipless crankbaits.

Ebare’s choice for clear water is Clearwater Minnow, while he opts for Oyster if the water is stained. Bone is Ebare’s go-to in muddy conditions.

The walking action of the KVD Sexy Dawg drives fish insane with a simple twitch of your rod. This lure is far casting and is available in two sizes.

He opts for Mouse in clear water, and switches to White if the water is stained. Chartreuse Blue Glimmer is his top choice in muddy water. Ebare uses a Ghost Shad Blade Minnow trailer in all conditions.

The perfect bladed swim jig that belongs in every angler’s arsenal, the Strike King Thunder Cricket Vibrating Jig has an ultra-stiff hook, stainless steel blade, and provides a superior hook up ratio. The Blade Minnow trailer allows efficient movement through grass.

If the water is clear, he will throw a Sexy Ghost Minnow, while more stained water calls for Oyster. Ebare opts for the Black Back Chartreuse in muddy conditions.

The KVD Squarebill 2.5 Crankbait is perfect for shallow water, power fishing. The squarebill design and unique “hunting” action will constantly emit erratic movement while still running true.
